Northeast Portland Homes – Gracious Living

I love fall drives through the Irvington neighborhood. Leaves drift from towering trees, piling everywhere. Irvington gives me a feeling of nostalgic Americana: stately homes, so well groomed and perfectly staged in the disorder of colorful leaves.

The Northeast is a desirable place to buy a home for many reasons. It’s close to downtown and easily accessible; each Northeast neighborhood displays charm and attractions. Irvington hosts dignified homes and restaurants/shopping are within walking distance. Alberta is home to a festive monthly gallery walk called, “Last Thursday.” The McMenamin’s Kennedy School (graduated into a brewpub/theater/hotel) resides in Concordia. Hollywood boasts the historic Hollywood Theater, a farmer’s market and some of the best burgers and bungalows in town. Other Northeast neighborhoods have just as much to offer, including splendid homes of every size, shape and price.
